Assets Declaration, A must for all Public Officers
"The Code of Conduct Bureau is alive to its responsibility and will ensure that all public officers declare their assets in line with the laws goven1ing the operations of the Bureau"

April, 2009 by the Ag Chainnan
of the Bureau, Barr. Yakubu Tuktur when the Public Administration Students of Gombe State University led by the Head of Department, Prof. Bola ani visited him in his office.
3. According to the chairman, it is in the interest of serving public officers to
declare their assets on assumption of office and when leaving the service as this will portray them as diligent officers who stTongly believe in the rule of law and decency, thereby uplifting the image of the country.
4. The chairman encouraged the students to face their studies, avoid acts that are inimical to their future. He also enjoined them to have at the back of their minds, the need to declare their assets as soon as they join the public service.
5. In his brief remarks, the Head of Department of Public Administration of the
institution, Prof ani informed the Chaim1an that they were in his office on a study tour and to give the students the right orientation on the activities of the Bureau. This he hopes will position them to take a stake in the campaign for zero tolerance on corruption.
